Walk in the Woods
I have always liked walking in the woods, getting away from the streets, parking lots, and houses to immerse myself for a little bit in the sounds, smells and light of nature. These vases are a series of pots trying to capture the feel of being out in the woods.

I made these hand-formed vases from stoneware, layering a blue and green glazes over earth tones on a red iron clay to produce organic, found-the-woods feel. I added a heavy lip and used shows of bare clay to add to its earthy vibe.
These vases vary a bit in size. I grouped them together because they all have the same feel and design origin. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for additional views. I will be happy to send you additional shots or short video to assist in your selection.
I use these vases when Iām picking a random bouquet of flowers from the yard.
I make my pots to be different from each other. Each one has its own personality. I like similar repetition, but not crazy about duplicates. Hopefully, you will never find two of my pots that are the same.
