Sal's Vase

$125.00

I wanted to create a vase that would accent the flowers it held, while reminding us what its purpose in life was, even without the flowers. So, I created a relief flower design. Think of it as a flower tattoo on a flower pot.

The pots are thrown on the potters wheel using white stoneware. I left the pots heavy to create ballast against the load of top heavy flowers. The soft green glaze reacts to the cobalt in the dark blue glaze, creating the bright sunshine effect highlighting the flowers. The shading of the petals is a result of glaze layers.

You will see in the pictures that there are multiple variations. I make my pots to be different from each other. Each one has its own personality. I like similar repetition, but not crazy about duplicates. Hopefully, you will never find two of my pots that are the same.

With that said, a few pictures do not do a good job of helping you see the pots. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for additional views. I will be happy to send you additional shots to assist in your selection.

Approximately 5” high x 4’ diameter. Actual dimension of each pot varies.

Pots are sold separately.
