Castle Rock

$90.00

I traveled to Colorado and New Mexico recently, being inspired by the simplicity and beauty of nature. These vases are built with straight walls and a heavy, crenulated rim; think Castle Rock covered in snow. I mixed the white glaze to coat like heavy cream, syrup on pancakes, snow on adobe. Allowing the glaze to wrap itself around the pot, but not fully cover the bare clay.

These are hand-formed vases made from a brown stoneware. I make my pots to be different from each other. Each one has its own personality. I like similar repetition, but not crazy about duplicates. Hopefully, you will never find two of my pots that are the same.

With that said, a few pictures do not do a good job of helping you see the pots. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly for additional views. I will be happy to send you additional shots to assist in your selection.
